Devonshire Osteopaths is participating in a new research project to investigate what patients expect from osteopathic treatment. The project is run by the University of Brighton’s Clinical Research Centre for Healthcare Professions, and is asking for information from 8000 osteopathic patients, recruited from 800 osteopathic practices.
The results will provide information about what patients think of treatment, what improvement is found from treatment and how going to an osteopath might be different from going to a doctor.
